mnay 17, INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST LGBT-phobia
Today May 17 met 19 years since the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from its list of psychiatric illness, why is celebrated International Day Against Homophobia. Can not say the same of transsexuality, which remains in the International Classification of Diseases, which has not exactly help the fight against social transphobia, reinforcing the pathological condition of trans people.
The right to life and physical integrity of transgender and intersex people continues today, largely absent in practice, especially when it comes to women sex workers.
So far this year, murders of transgender people occur in many places: in Turkey, Republic Dominican Republic, Honduras ... It's like a drip flashing, the chronicle of what will happen.
violence is implicit in the structure of most modern societies, closely connected with machismo, with the values \u200b\u200bestablished and maintained from the spaces of power.
Neither the English State is an exception, as the recent cases show, the brutal attack on Paloma, a sex worker in the Circle of Guadalhorce (Málaga). While driving his car was stoned and consequently had an accident which resulted in a severe coma in which takes several months.
Another sad case is the murder of Cristina, transsexual Moroccan sex worker, committed in Valencia on 22 March. He was beaten and then burned. It has been almost two months and still is not clear this cruel event. If Craig had not been a sex worker, migrant women and transsexual, would be equal? We want to know and demand a prompt clarification.
addition to these murders, there are countless assaults, harassment and daily humiliations that trans people suffer, both in the workplace and health and social level.
We will not remain with folded arms! The undersigned organizations will continue to work for social transphobia go down in history as well as institutional transphobia by what we reject as transphobic, those elements of the Law on Gender Identity to consider transsexualism as a disease and those that require us to hormones over a period of time involved, for most of us; to infertility and therefore the loss of our reproductive rights.
Also, the limited rights provided by this law are banned to minors or migrants, reinforcing its exclusionary nature.
We also want to forget the attacks also continue to suffer queers, lesbians, gays and bisexuals. Some are physical attacks directly, others are part of the widespread violence that patriarchal heterosexism exercised from the same within this society.
May 17 This followed on the way to eradicate the LGBT-phobia, no room for complacency, not tolerate attempts by this government to market with our rights. Organizations

legalized the death of Gaston ...
Watching the rain from the window of the office of the Government of the City of Kobe, where I work every Thursday on translations into English and Portuguese, while translating a new law on household waste disposal received the news of the acquittal of the charged and detained by police torture followed by death of those who in life was one of my cousin, Damien Duffau Gaston.
The news found me having to translate precisely the section provides for a penalty of imprisonment up to five years and fines of up to 100 thousand dollars for illegally dispose of household garbage and encourages neighbors to communicate and report to the police when verificare these facts by their neighbors.
the safest country in the world, you can go to jail for illegally taking away, but in our beloved Argentina, life and death of people is not worth even a package of household waste.
If a public official torture and kill someone in Japan applies death penalty after a public trial.
In Argentina, with luck it does get to where it was the trial of Gaston.
In a country with a daily death at the hands of security forces and police, but no record of convictions for torture death row since the return to democracy, I would share with you these lines that I wrote.
Sincerely, E. Mathias

LEGALIZE THE DAY THE DEATH PENALTY IN ARGENTINA. Dan
If anyone is wondering how could someone be held on a Saturday night at a local fast-food of Buenos Aires province and:
- being tortured in the 2nd floor of the police station. Ramos Mejia view of all
- being suffocated while being transported back of a vanished in police van with five troops over,
- arrive dead, bound hand and foot, the Guard's Hospital Ramos Mejia,
-explain the "death" with expertise false which says that the dead and was semi-dead for five days before a traffic accident,
- get a second skill set more than 80 multiple injuries throughout the body, which, together with an external mechanical asphyxia caused death,
- from research to promulgate the detention of six police officers,
- one of the detainees did not get to talk with the judge hearing the case because it "suicide" in his cell with a " sheet ",
- Political Power decides to keep the head office of the department and the head of the department despite these facts
Si el Ministerio Público Fiscal tiene Prosecutors among officials who tear their hair but they cover up the actions of the police-criminal.
If citizens prefer to continue deaf to the demands for justice and victim "while I do not go, do not get."
If the estimates of human rights organizations, aware of one death per day in events where police is strangely linked.
If almost all the most heinous acts of killing and kidnapping for ransom is always a member of the security forces involved.
that remains is to conclude one thing: Argentina has legalized not only that the security forces are impunity for crime but also to decide about life or death of citizens. Mal
that many of us even in our country, electoral democracy is a fiction that is not reflected in the respect or civil and political rights or guarantees that we should enjoy according to our Constitution and International Treaties compose.
In our country, while the police are corrupt and self-managed kidnap you or works with those who do, you extort, torture you and kill you, our politicians, judges and prosecutors to ensure his connivance and complicity of police-criminal impunity while civil society discussed the low at the age of criminal responsibility.
By letting people die doing drugs in road crashes out of control drunk driving, preventable diseases, like dengue fever, "or by hunger and malnutrition are condemning to death" illegal "and" indirectly "and" failure "to our own people.
But it is much worse ourselves to think that if the State itself lets her act decisively dependent on the death of those who would be accountable and respect, is that the death penalty is being applied in Argentina in a "direct." In
seventies, many people did the "blind eye" because those kidnapped and killed by the state of "de facto" thought differently. " Then he tried to justify eugenics police saying the dead were drug offenders. But, for some years, death is also bleeding the middle class and persecuting those who hold their cars and watching those living in the countries.
Apparently, we only care to know "why he was killed" in order to meet our social self-justification liar "for something that happened is that ..."
The truth is that too late, and death in some form or another, we are knocking on the door at all.
Who does not have an acquaintance, friend, relative or friend from school or work that has been the victim of a crime where he spoke of physical violence or use of weapons. Who has not heard people saying to comfort the victim "at least, thank you not killed ..."
It's time to wake up before they hit our door. Between them, they NEVER say this fear with which we have been accustomed to live for decades. Mathias

Doubts and suspicions
On February 23, 2008, Duffau Gaston died after being arrested alive by six soldiers of the delegation of Ramos Mejia, who presumably gave him heavy blows that caused the death. Duffau

Duffau's body appeared on the back of a police van, naked, his feet bound and a double set of handcuffs in his hands in the guard of Acute General Hospital Luis Guemes de Haedo.
According to the police, troops Duffau handcuffed and taken to the branch, where he tried released because he was "excited" and to the delay of the ambulance decided to take him to hospital for reassurance, but admitted dead, something that the prosecutor Bordenave gave ground. Public Complaint
After the boy's family denounced the fact publicly, the Administration of the province of Buenos Aires departed to Silvina Breggia prosecutor (who initially took charge of the case), for irregularities in the investigation , and in turn ordered a new autopsy, after which ordered the arrests.
According to experts of the Judicial Morgue of Lomas de Zamora, Gaston received multiple "multiple injuries suffered by applying beatings all over his body, as well as mechanical asphyxia. "In addition, several witnesses testified that they saw when the former police force arrested the boy and put him in the patrol car.
Therefore, Judge Manuel Blanco Guarantees , after a prosecutor's request Bordenave, ordered the detention of the six troops who participated in the arrest and would have responsibility for the murder. A few days later, one of the defendants, David Mansfield, committed suicide in the unit cell 43 of Gonzalez Catan, where he was serving preventive detention before trial.
